Sea-Tech 4-H: Adventures in Marine Science and Technology
SEA-TECH is a marine science and technology club started in January of 2001 with the 4-H program in Skagit County, Washington.
The club's name, SEA-TECH, is an acronym for Skagit Exploration and Marine Technology.
The objective of the club is to provide a safe and challenging environment where junior high and high school students can develop
an appreciation for marine related science topics by working on the design, construction and operation of underwater vehicles. Individual report assignments, team competitions, and group projects are designed to advance the students' understanding of a variety of technical issues and their underlying physical principles.
Club activities encourage the development of critical thinking skills and creative problem solving. Team competitions promote teamwork skills. Group projects provide opportunities for collaboration between student teams involved in complex technical problem solving in a non-threatening, fun environment!

Sea-Tech would like to thank it's 2008 sponsor, Janicki Industries.
