Accomplishments

To date, the club has built eleven small demonstration ROVs complete with video cameras, lights, and remote control.

In addition, we have refurbished a hyper-baric test chamber and control station; assembled various demonstration devices such as a hydro-test tunnel; assembled and staffed displays for seven county fairs and several homeschool science fairs; assembled a full-scale mockup of a shallow submergence observation vehicle; and conducted numerous field trips focused on science and marine technology related topics.

Every club member has written at least one report each year covering topics that pertain to the design and construction of underwater vehicles, history of underwater exploration, or researched potential dive objectives.
